One Shot is a man of few words who is a natural leader. He never fired a gun prior to joining the military, but became a highly proficient marksman very quickly. He earned his nickname because he is said to have killed several outlaws never using more than one shot per victim. One Shot, who joined the military after his wife was killed, is highly respected, and secretly feared by the other soldiers, black and white. No one knows his real age.
